Annual Individual Membership

The American Order of Combat — BuDoKwan exists to preserve martial arts tradition, honor the legacy of those who came before us, maintain professional standards, and unite practitioners who believe that martial arts is about far more than simply earning rank.

Your annual AOC membership establishes your official affiliation with the Order and provides an ongoing record of your participation, certifications, credentials, and achievements within the organization.

Whether you train through an affiliated school, study independently under an AOC instructor, participate in seminars and special programs, or simply wish to support and remain connected to the traditions of the American Order of Combat, your membership provides a formal connection to the organization.  Note: Upon approval, independent members will be registered under the Warriors Institute.

Your Annual AOC Membership Includes:

1. Official Membership Card & Membership Diploma
   Receive an official AOC membership card and membership diploma identifying you as an active member of the American Order of Combat — Bu Do Kwan.
2. Individual Student/Member Number & Certification Records
   Each member is assigned an individual AOC student/member number. The organization will maintain documentation of applicable AOC certifications, recognized credentials, and achievements associated with that member.
3. Access to the AOC Online Members Site
   Members receive access to the private online member area featuring organizational information, training resources, historical materials, announcements, and additional member content.
4. Rank & Credential Verification Service
   Active members may have qualifying AOC ranks, certifications, and organizational credentials verified through the American Order of Combat.
5. Member-Only Instructional Downloads
   Access exclusive downloadable training materials, instructional resources, reference documents, historical information, and other materials produced for AOC members.
6. Annual Digital Membership Badge
   Receive an official digital membership badge recognizing your current AOC membership year. Members may display the badge on websites, social media, or other approved digital platforms.
7. Eligibility for AOC-Sanctioned Events
   Active members are eligible to participate in applicable American Order of Combat sanctioned seminars, clinics, training sessions, workshops, camps, testing events, and other organizational activities.
8. Official AOC Uniform Patch
   Each membership includes an official American Order of Combat uniform patch representing your affiliation with the Order.
