MASTER BRIAN COOK - Executive Board Member
Master Cook is retired from the US Army serving with the 82 nd Airborne Division, 29 th Infantry Division, and the
80 th , 95 th , and 98 Training Divisions. He served as an Infantryman, Truck Master, Administrative Specialist, and
Operations Sergeant with over 27 year’s service. He is a Level One Combatives Instructor with the Army
Combatives Program. He is retired from US Federal Service with 33 years and worked Administrative and
Security for the Department of Defense, Department of State, and Department of Justice. He has served over 40
years as a leader in the Boy Scouts of America. He is currently a Scoutmaster, Unit Commissioner, and Council
Outdoor Ethics Advocate. He is a 5 th Degree Black Belt in American Combat Karate with the Order of Combat
USA. He has taught for over 30 years. He has Black Belts in other Traditional and Non-Transitional Systems but
prefers to teach Reality Based Martial Arts and Rough and Tumble. Because of the Rough and Tumble and
Frontier Martial Arts aspect in the Grey Wolf Lodge he also teaches Bushcraft, Wilderness Survival, Frontier
History, and Leave No Trace camping techniques as part of his Curriculum.
